What is electronic invoicing

Electronic invoicing is the process by which companies issue, send, and receive invoices in structured digital format (XML), following ANAF standards. In Romania, the official system is called e-Factura and works through the ANAF Private Virtual Space (SPV). Regulated by OUG 130/2021 and Law 296/2023, the system has been mandatory for B2B and B2G relationships since January 1, 2024.

Get the ANAF token

Generate the SPV token in your ANAF account using the company's digital certificate. If you don't have one, your accountant can do it. Token validity: 90 days.
